Clearing a zero balance visit

Occasionally you may find yourself in a situation where no money is owed by, or to, the customer - for example, where an item has been exchanged for an item of the same value.

In these circumstances you will have a “zero balance” visit:

On totalling the visit you are asked if you want to finalize this visit and move on to the next customer, or if you have the auto totalling enabled, no total button and the numeric keypad enabled use the Exact button, you will then be prompted to finalise the visit and move on to the next customer. Tap YES to print a receipt and move onto the next sale or NO to continue adding items to this visit.

Zero balance message
