Assigning a barcode to a product

We have already seen that when you add a new stock line to the stock database you can assign a barcode to it. You can change this barcode, or assign an additional barcode to the product, through the "Maintain Stock Lines" window by simply selecting the product row and entering the new barcode in the barcode field and then committing the change by clicking the COMMIT button.

If you enter a barcode against the wrong product simply re-enter it on the correct product and the barcode will be re-assigned.

To add additional barcodes to a product simply select the barcode details in the barcode field for the product and then type or scan in the barcode you want to add to the product, then commit the change.
