Using the Batch scanner

Using the hand held to create labels and make orders is done by first making sure you have the handhelds information up to date.

  1. Plug the handheld into the till it has been setup on
  2. Click manage stock lines

  3. You will now see this screen

  4. Click tools and select sync with batch terminal

  5. The system will lock for a short time as it copy's all your products to the handheld once it is running again you will now have to start the application on the PDT machine (handheld)

  6. Once the software is running you are presented with this screen

  7. Click load data set. This will load the product data file into the software.
  8. Scan an item/ shelf edge label of the item you want to adjust the details of or order or print labels.

  9. Select what you want to do from the menu

  10. Once completed for all items plug the PDT back in to the till
  11. Run the sync again manage stock lines> tools> sync with batch terminal wait for that to finish
  12. Check your stock movement screen the order you created should be there
